... Earlier this week five high school students left school and were driving home. Speed, drugs, and alcohol were ruled out as the cause of their tragic deaths. How does one heal and move on?
The New Oxford and surrounding communities rallied to grieve and to comfort each other. Monies were raised by the teenagers and local businesses for the affected families. This was truly a sad event but one that showed the strength that exists within this community. As one young man remarked, this is not only a time of grief but one from which everyone will grow.
The word, community, is so powerful as it has been for centuries.
